Obesity is a problem striking every part of the world. In the East End of Britain, one out of every 10 children is obese. The obesity rate has grown world wide in the last decade, reading to high disease and mortality rate. Diseases are striking at an even lower age. The only solution is to ensuring that you are healthy and slim. I am not referring to being slim in order to look beautiful. I am talking about being slim in order to stay healthy and prevent some of the most dreadful diseases that are hitting even our youth today.
The Fat Loss Solution
Sometimes its very hard to do the right thing to lose weight. We read about 15 diets, read about 20 articles on cardio, 40 ways to lift weights and by the end of it. You just feel that none of them are achievable and you settle down to doing nothing about your weight since everything looks impossible.
Losing weight is not difficult. It is fairly easy if you have the right attitude. You got to be willing to take action. It begins with the basics being eat smaller portions, eat regular meals, eat healthy and yes exercise. We already know all of that. What remains for us, is to start applying all that we already know. All you need to do is take baby steps towards losing weight. Remember slow and steady wins the race!
The Fat Loss Solution
More than being strict about your diet it is important to be strict about your exercise. Do your cardio regularly, consume lesser calories than you burn, lift weights, try and eat only natural foods, not refined food stuff. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Eat at regular intervals.
You need to find out what is the right amount of calories you are to consume based on your height, age and weight. Find that out and then measure the amount of calories you are consuming. Make sure your consuming only the specific amount of calories you need. If you are consuming more, you are going to put on weight.
Walking is one of the best exercises for cardio. You also have other options like kickboxing, tae bo, swimming, jogging, lifecycle, yoga, stairmaster, elliptical machine etc. the simplest and easiest of all cardio exercises is walking. It is especially good for beginners. As you become better, you can upgrade to a different and more strenuous exercise. Walking briskly for 30 minutes everyday is going to help you burn a lot of calories.
Remember fitness is a life style. Results won't always show in the very first week. It will take time. But you need to be firm and want this bad. You can not afford to quit half way through. If you need help, get a personal trainer but believe you me, each of us has the power to lose weight. You just need to have the will power. Once you make up your mind and start exercising or even going to the gym, the journey to losing weight has already begun. In fact you have taken the biggest step. So keep at it and you will soon reap its benefits.
